BROWNBACK TO HOLD HEARING ON PORNOGRAPHY

Committee to examine pornography’s effects on families, society

 

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Sam Brownback will hold a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution titled “Why the Government Should Care About Pornography: The State Interest in Protecting Children and Families” this Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.

 

The committee will hear from witnesses describing pornography’s pervasive presence in mainstream America and how pornography negatively marriages, families, and children.
