ADF defends pro-lifers at the 4th Circuit
In August 2003, Dennis Green, along with members of his friends and family, began to peacefully communicate a pro-life viewpoint on a public right-of-way in Raleigh, N.C., by distributing literature and holding signs expressing their beliefs. Police officers told Green and the other pro-life advocates to cease their activities or face a citation for violating a law prohibiting picketing without a permit.
