S.D. Group sues to use Rapid City school gym
Josh Verges reports in the Argus Leader (2.4.2008) on the new suit filed by ADF on behalf of Citizens for Life. Verges reports:
Citizens for Life, organized by Rapid City man Allen Carlson, filed a lawsuit today against the Rapid City School District. According to the complaint, the district has twice refused to let the group use the Dakota Middle School auditorium for meetings related to abortion. Carlson argues the district’s verbal refusals and its written public-use policy denies his group’s rights to speech, religion and equal protection.
