As a former law enforcement officer, I had a similar case. The child had called his mother
at work and she called Police. It was the same type of case regarding religious expression.
I met the Mom in school.I spoke to the teacher in question and the child as well as the
Principle. I wrote a stunning report and sent copies of the report to everyone I could think of
on this matter, including the press. The teacher and principle were reassigned to another
city after the embarrassment they put on themselves was too much to bare. I only wish that
I could have arrested them and let them sit in a jail for a few hours with real criminals so
they understand the pain they caused this child and his family.
