Nebraska: Council considers sexual business ordinance

. . . But taking the lesson from other cities, the North Platte City Council is considering an ordinance that would regulate any sexually oriented businesses.

Council member Don Kurre researched the subject and gathered a one-inch tall stack of information for other council members to digest.

City Attorney Doug Stack drafted three different ordinances for the council to consider. One of the proposed North Platte ordinances would allow sexually oriented businesses in the Industrial Districts or in commercial business districts with a conditional use permit . . .

Frank Graham reports on the North Platte Bulletin (2.5.2008).
