There should be a mechanism in place in which a nominee will be automatically confirmed if the Senate delays the process by more than XX number of days through inaction (as opposed to delays caused by debate/action). In other words, “____ or get off the pot!”

I guess it can be difficult to get anything worthwhile accomplished in Congress when they’re only there 3 1/2 days a week… come stumbling in late Monday or even Tuesday and are then antsie to leave early Thursday afternoon or Friday. They’re a disgrace.
