Kansas: A profile of the new leader of the local ACLU office

Alan Goforth reports in The Kansas City Star on the new leader, who argues:

. . . One could argue that we are the most conservative organization in the country, because at no point do we argue for bigger government,” he said. “We are champions of the right of Americans to be left alone"  . . . ACLU membership has doubled nationally in the seven years of the Bush administration, and our local membership has reflected that as well,” he said. “The financial side of the organization is very strong . . .”
