Hindu prayers being offered in numerous Western state legislatures
The Salt Lake Tribune reports: "Chaplain Rajan Zed made history Wednesday, offering a Hindu prayer to open the morning session of the Utah Senate."
Rajan Zed reports on Mediaforfreedom.com: More Western State Senates to have historical Hindu prayers. He writes:
Chaplain who recited the first Hindu prayers in Colorado and New Mexico Senates last week, will be reading the similar first Hindu opening prayers in three more Western states . . . Rajan Zed, prominent Hindu chaplain and Indo-American leader, will recite these history making prayers containing ancient Sanskrit mantras in Utah, Washington and Arizona, which will reportedly be the first Hindu prayers of these Senates since their formation.
Reportedly the prayers will be offered according to the following schedule: Salt Lake City (February 13), Olympia (February 22), and Phoenix (March 24)
