Illinois Church denied special use permit, ADF sues
"ADF attorneys filed suit Thursday on behalf of a church being prevented from meeting in its own recently purchased property. Village of Hazel Crest officials denied a special use permit to River of Life Kingdom Ministries, though the village does not require non-religious groups to obtain any such special permission to operate. ADF attorneys have asked the court for an immediate order reversing the actions of village officials."
