American Counseling Association violating its own standards

"In a 2006 Ethics Committee memorandum, the ACA condemned approaches to therapy which attempt to change sexual orientation. However, in doing so, the ACA also disregarded clients who wish to avoid homosexual behavior on religious grounds."
