Pro-family advocate commends FTC for fining porn ’spammers’

Allie Martin reports on OneNewsNow:

A pro-family activist is commending the U.S. Federal Trade Commission for fining an "adult" web site more than $410,000 for sending obscene emails to unsuspecting recipients . . .

Pat Trueman — special counsel with the Alliance Defense Fund — says the ruling sends a strong message. "So this is real progress with respect to pornography," Trueman maintains. "Because the Federal Trade Commission has paid particular attention to these companies that spam pornography and they’ve also gone after other spammers…this is a really good development."
