WA: School system sued over ban on religious meetings

The AP reports:

The Alliance Defense Fund of [sic. Tucson], Ariz., is representing a Newman Lake girl identified as A.L. and her family. They claim five students, including the girl, were barred from meeting for religious discussion and prayer in a room where other students could gather for nonreligious purposes.

An alliance lawyer, Jeremy Tedesco, says the First Amendment demands equal treatment for religious speech.
