Minn. Gov. appoints pro-life conservative to lead high court

Gov. Tim Pawlenty today appointed attorney Eric Magnuson of Inver Grove Heights as chief justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Magnuson, 57, will succeed Chief Justice Russell Anderson, who announced last week that he will retire June 1.
