Crackdown on biblical speech challenged

WorldNetDaily has this report on the Harper case filed by ADF that is pending at the 9th Circuit. It begins:

A brief has been filed with the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in California again challenging a district’s policy that allows such slogans as “Stop the Hate,” “fags,” “queers,” “that’s so gay” and even “I Kiss Boys,” but bans “Romans 1:27.”

The case stems from punishment handed down by the Poway Unified School District for student Chase Harper, who was a sophomore in 2004 when the school recognized the “Day of Silence,” an annual promotion in schools of the homosexual lifestyle.
