Homeschoolers rally at Michigan capital

The Michigan Family Forum reports in the Forum Online:

Homeschool advocates rallied at the Capitol in Lansing this week in opposition to HB5912. The legislation would require parents or guardians to notify school districts if they are homeschooling their children. The bill is sponsored by Rep. Brenda Clack (D-Flint). Homeschoolers are concerned that the bill would open the door to government oversight and regulation . . .
