Canadian Bishops Urge Support for Bill C-484 - Unborn Victims of Crime Act
Bishop Jean Gagnon, the chairman of The Catholic Organization for Life and Family (COLF), has written a letter urging Catholics and all Canadians to do whatever possible to support Bill C-484, the Unborn Victims of Crime Act, which would make it a separate crime to injure or kill an unborn child in an attack on its mother.
COLF was co-founded by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) and the Supreme Council of the Knights of Columbus. COLF’s mission is to build a culture of life and a civilization of love by promoting respect for human life and dignity and the essential role of the family.
