If we care for the souls of other people we will warn them of the wrath to come but, we must always do so lovingly. Resorting to public humiliation is not the answer and quite frankly, not very loving. We have a loving, merciful Heavenly Father whose mercy and tenderness towards sinners was made visible in our Lord Jesus Christ. We must always be ready to present Christ to those who are lost. Only He can set people free from whatever sin has them enslaved. I think we must always prayerfully consider how we approach people. We are to love people to Christ, not humiliate them.
