Connecticut: East Hartford Residents Oppose New Zones For Sex Shops



The Hartford Courant reports:

Nearly 80 residents packed a town hall meeting room Wednesday to oppose proposed zoning regulations that would allow adult entertainment establishments in industrial areas farther from I-84 than current rules allow . . .

But residents fearing traffic, crime and a decrease in property values said Wednesday that the proposed zones are too close to homes, churches and schools.
