ADF: Minn. elementary students
shouldn’t be indoctrinated in homosexual behavior

ADF attorneys warn Minneapolis Public Schools that protecting children
as early as kindergarten comes first

MINNEAPOLIS — Attorneys with the Alliance Defense Fund are urging the Minneapolis Public Schools not to implement a program that would instruct kindergartners and other elementary school students to embrace homosexual behavior.

“The government should promote and encourage strong families,” said ADF Senior Legal Counsel Austin R. Nimocks. “When school officials have to choose between protecting children in those families or furthering the homosexual agenda, the choice is obvious: protecting our children comes first.”

The Human Rights Campaign, which devised the “Welcoming Schools” curriculum, targeted Minneapolis Public Schools for implementation of the project. ADF attorneys sent a legal memo to school district officials advising them of the project’s true intent.

“HRC says the program is designed to stop bullying, even though its true intent is to promote the homosexual agenda,” Nimocks explained. “If HRC merely cared about bullying, they would simply endorse the school district’s vigorous ‘Bullying and Hazing Policy.’ Parents and school officials need to be aware of what HRC is really trying to do.”

“According to its own statistics, HRC represents only 4.1 percent of American adults who identify themselves as homosexual, but it is attempting to implement its agenda on our children and the remaining 95.9 percent of American adults who don’t identify themselves as either ‘gay’ or ‘lesbian,’” said Nimocks.

ADF attorneys warn in the memo that embracing the philosophies HRC promotes would open the floodgate in public schools to multiple practical and legal problems.

“Especially within schools, bathrooms, locker rooms, and other intimate places will no longer be protected from members of the opposite sex once ‘gender identity’ becomes standard behavior for students,” the memo states. “From an enforcement standpoint, school officials would be unable to discern whether a boy who is using the girls’ restroom is a sexual predator, prankster, or one who sincerely believes that he is somehow a girl.”

My comment is on your press release about Minnesota schools indoctrinating homosexual behavior. We live in Hastings MN.And recently, our very confused transgendered neighbor was in our local paper for winning the Rainbow Families award. The paper says he-she is speaking at schools and conferences about diversity etc. with the support of our Middle school principal, counselors and even both of our Representatives. This is so appalling. Some are even calling him a community hero!He chaperones and helps out in his daughters class and the children even gave him hugs at one point after he had been ill for awhile.( Teachers are not even supposed to hug children anymore!) He is advocating a series of books called “aMaze Project” to make schools a safe environment for all children.Sounds innocent enough until you bring up alternative lifestyles and begin to teach it from 1st to 8th grade. Their own daughter made the statement, “Jesus kind of put her in the wrong body, but we’re fixing that now.” He is married to his actual wife and they have 3 children from 15 to 7 years old. I cannot believe the decline this community is in. We are also fighting the city on zoning for adult businesses. Last summer I was in Kohls in Cottage Grove and I was in the dressing room when I noticed that the person in the changing stall next to me had very hairy feet. I was sure it was a man and I was right. Where were my rights? We should not have to share dressing rooms or bathrooms with these people. The Kohl’s manager just laughed. Our representatives and Senators will not stand up against this for fear of being intolerant. How much are we going to be forced to tolerate? As the Bible tells us that the last days will be as in the days of Noah. Laurie Little

I think the school official should be fired. We do not teach children this type of stuff that early in life. They need a natural progression of grow in life. The school officials are no better than perverts. Leave the little one alone.

Several years ago in the 90’s I can across a lady in GA. that would send out a new letter about against a group in Washington, DC called NAEYC “National Association for the Education of Young Children”. In the early 90’s GA started their lottery and used some of the money to support their ‘PreK” program using NAEYC to accredit the schools. By using their standards they started teaching 4 year olds that Jane could have two mommies, or Tommy could have two dad’s. Here is a link to their site: http://www.naeyc.org/
You folks in MINN have a group that used to help educate the public about these programs: http://www.edwatch.org/
Anyway keep praying all this started long ago, and is now beginning to come to a head.
