Milford, Mass. Chief: “Adult” entertainment increases crime



Milford Daily News reports:

Preparing for Town Meeting, the Planning Board tonight will review six proposed zoning bylaw amendments - including a change to adult entertainment rules the police chief is urging the board to support . . .

Police Chief Thomas O’Loughlin will be on hand tonight to present board members research he has done on policing and crime attributable to adult entertainment businesses.

“In looking at studies across the country, it’s pretty evident that there are secondary effects,” the chief said yesterday. “That’s what I was trying to bring to their attention.” . . .
