1 in 4 Teen girls has STD, abstinence blamed
WPTZ.com reports: “. . . Nationally, a new CDC study found that one in four teen girls has at least one STI. Vermont numbers from 2007 show there were 72 new cases of the chlamydia in 15- to 19-year-olds and two new cases of gonorrhea . . . ”
The article indicates that teachers turn to Planned Parenthood and that abstinence programs are part of the problem.
