Women in combat prohibitions being ignored?
Family Research Council’s Washington Update has this comment criticizing women in combat proposals and policies. Apparently, it is written in response to this post by USA Today: USA Today: Policy on women in combat bears no relation to reality.
FRC reports:
In 1994, the Clinton-era Defense Department scrapped a rule that protected women from being assigned to front-line positions. By law of Congress, women are supposedly still protected from being assigned to combat roles. Unfortunately, the law protecting female soldiers has gradually been chipped away by Pentagon bureaucrats who are engaging in social experiments on a massive scale.

Since women won their right to vote, they have also been determined to be treated equal to men. I see no problem with them being placed on the front lines IF that is what they want, but it should be made clear to them, that they will not be treated any different than a man on the front lines of battle..
