Bush Administration Should Protect Kids from Porn and Predators
Patrick Trueman has isssued this press release on Christian Newswire. It begins:
“Protecting children from Internet pornographers and predators needs to be the Bush Justice Department’s key priority. Today’s indictment of Loren Jay Adams, a fringe member of America’s pornography empire, who focuses on human and animal sex, is the wrong strategy,” said Patrick Trueman, former chief of the Department of Justice Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section. We need multiple prosecutions of Internet hardcore pornography that can be found in a matter of seconds by kids. The only deterrent pornographers recognize is loss of profits and significant jail time. When the Justice Department limits prosecutions to the most vile and bizarre of material, the porn industry sees a “green light” for all other forms of illegal pornography.
