Scott Nelson: Separate religion, science by taking atheistic evolution out
Scott Nelson has this article in the Ann Arbor News. He concludes:
Perhaps America is losing its hold on science leadership because its definition of science is messed up. America can maintain and excel in its leadership in civil liberties and technological innovation by crystallizing its definitions of science, religion and the separation of church and state. Instead of putting creationism into public school science curriculum, let’s separate religion and science by taking atheistic evolution out. Atheistic evolution is not in the same observational category as gravity and two plus two equals four. The moral implications of two plus two equals four is zero.
