U.S. Senate committee OKs 3 Michigan judicial nominees

The Senate Judiciary Committee cleared three Michigan judicial nominees on Thursday, advancing a Clinton era appointment whose nomination stalled for years during the late 1990s.
The committee approved the nomination of Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Helene White on an 11-8 vote, with one Republican joining the majority Democrats, for a seat on the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals . . .
