When watching TV, most sexual encounters are outside the boundaries of marriage, which is what our teenagers have been watching for decades. TV rarely depicts consequences for sex outside of a committed marriage. Just what are some of those consequences? pregnancies, babies, abortions, abandonment, joblessness, abuse, sexually transmitted diseases, just to name a few. The WSJ author has it wrong--homosexual marriage does not eliminate any of these consequences of sex outside of a committed marriage.
