Inmate on hunger strike seeks to block feedings
The AP reports on Newsday: “The American Civil Liberties Union went to court on Tuesday in an attempt to prevent the state from force feeding a prison inmate who has lost over 100 pounds while on a hunger strike.”
The state argues it has a right to protect the life of the inmate.
