Atheists’ Lawsuit against Dakota Boys Ranch dismissed
A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by the nation’s largest group of atheists and agnostics over referrals by North Dakota government agencies to a church-affiliated nonprofit that treats and educates troubled children.
U.S. District Judge Dan Hovland said the Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation and five North Dakota taxpayers who are members of the group have no right to sue.
