GA: Zoning board revokes permit for black “gay” program
The Southern Voice reports:
The city of Atlanta’s Zoning Review Board voted unanimously July 10 to revoke the permit of a Grant Park facility that was licensed to provide transitional housing for people living with HIV/AIDS, but which has instead been operating as a drop-in community center for black gay youth.
From the Zoning Review Board Agenda of July 10th:
U-08-21-An Ordinance to revoke the special use permit authorized by U-94-36/94-O-1564 for a community service facility located at 503 Boulevard, S.E. for failure of the operator to observe the conditions attached to the permit; and for other purposes.
