Massachusetts: “Roll call vote on the repeal of gay marriage ban”



The AP reports the roll call vote in Massachusetts. The report begins:

Here’s how members of the Massachusetts House voted Tuesday on repealing a 1913 law that blocked out-of-state gays from marrying in Massachusetts if their union would not be legally recognized in their home state. The vote was 119-36, after one member on each side of the question was allowed to vote after time expired in the initial roll call. A majority vote was needed . . .

    You know, for Massachusetts to try to “export” gay “marriage” to other states that don’t want it should invite multiple lawsuits by the several states against Massachusetts for causing them legal trouble.
