Michigan: “Adult business rules get Petoskey council’s OK”

Following city council action Monday, Petoskey will soon have some new rules for where adult-themed businesses can set up shop.
Council members voted 5-0 in favor of some additions to the city’s zoning ordinance concerning adult-themed businesses.
To date, Petoskey’s zoning rules haven’t addressed sexually oriented businesses. The new provisions, which take effect in about two weeks, identify which types of zoning districts can accommodate these establishments.
