Ark. agency criticizes survey’s religion questions

The Daily Citizen reports:

The Arkansas Department of Workforce Education on Monday criticized as inappropriate an affiliated group’s survey of middle school students that included questions asking them if they believed in tithing and whether they believed “in a God who answers prayers.”

The Department said Monday that it was unaware of the questions from the Arkansas Career Orientation Teachers Association’s Web site that also included questions about students’ goals and whether they had good manners.
