Florida: Palm Bay advances adult business law
Florida Today reports:
The Palm Bay City Council on Tuesday night gave preliminary approval to an ordinance limiting the areas where adult-oriented businesses could open shop. The vote was 4-1.
The measure is scheduled for a final vote Sept. 18.
While the council is trying to restrict the locations of adult-entertainment businesses, the measure also allows at least 16 additional adult businesses into the city. Palm Bay currently has two.
