2008 Elections: Marriage-Absence, America’s Most Urgent Problem, Goes Ignored
David R. Usher, writing at MND:
America’s most urgent home-front problem went entirely unaddressed at both the Democratic and Republican conventions. This is very bad news for the plebiscite for billions of reasons.
Even in the early days of the welfare state, Daniel Patrick Moynihan mentioned the danger that it would destroy marriage. Today, perhaps half of marriages are aborted before they happen, and another half are terminated midstream, because federal expenditures (and pass-through funding requirements imposed on states) entitle everything but marriage — and at the direct expense of marriage.
Marriage-absence is driving massive social spending deficits. The spending comes around to wreak further havoc on the marriage market. HHS is the largest line item in the federal budget at over 700-billion last year, much of the expense going towards weakening the marriage market or attempting to Humpty-Dumpty the downstream wreckage.

Abortion and premarital sex are too controversal for any political party. Family values of self control allow for diversity and responsible living. The drug usage though illegal have become a badge of courage in todays’ society a true sign of weakest is not having a drug story. People overcome addiction but then their are others never addicted and are punished for the fact. It is a punishment by the political system of both the Democrats and Republicans to be morally straight: DRUG-FREE,DEVIANT-FREE,DEBT-FREE,DISEASE-FREE,ABSTAINERS FOR CHRIST. Not looking for perfect people just ones not out to destroy their bodies with sex, drugs, nor alcohol.
It is time to stop American Genocide, for the largest population decline is a direct result of the abortion of the Black Community lead by church leaders paid by Planned Parenthood. Only around colleges and universities with a large minority enrollment is the Planned Parenthood Office with playground equipment, yet the majority of its business is abortions and the activities that surround such activities. Over 13 million aborted African Americans by Planned Parenthood alone. It is time for Christians to hold our religious leaders accountable.
