PJI President Files Complaint Against PG&E Over Funding of Prop 8

The Pacific Justice Institute has issued this press release. It reports:

Brad Dacus filed an administrative complaint with the California Public Utilities Commission over the $250,000 contribution by PG&E to oppose traditional marriage. The quarter million dollar donation went to the war chest of the No on Proposition 8 campaign . . .

“It is outrageous that a mammoth utility used my money to undermine the values of families in my community,” said Dacus, who is the president of the Pacific Justice Institute . . .

. . .  ”if the corporate fat cats want to write personal checks to overthrow traditional marriage, that’s their business. But not on my dime.”  . . .

If PG&E has excess monies for donations to left wing Nutty (that is anti Judeo-Christian values) issues, then I will bet the utility users would more likely wish a lower cost of gas and electricity. What has happened to Californians? It seems as if less and less are attending, listening, and/or practicing Judeo-Christian lives.

Its wonderful that somebody was able to take some action on this. Pacific gas has no business getting involved in politics. I wonder if this donation is to encourage the public utilities commission to grant future rate increases in California?
