Unmarried America – Logical consequences?



The Cal. Family Council reports: “One bill that died in the Senate Appropriations Committee last spring, SB 1066 (Migden), would have extended domestic-partnership benefits to any two unmarried, unrelated adults with a common residence. (Currently in California, domestic partnerships are limited to same-sex couples or heterosexual couples over age 62.) One Southern Californian is now claiming that’s discriminatory. Michael Imel wants to put his girlfriend on his health-insurance policy.”
