App., Dec. 3, 2008), a Florida state appellate court rejected a First Amendment religious autonomy challenge to civil court jurisdiction in a suit against the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. In the case, plaintiff alleged that the Archdiocese fraudulently induced him to settle a claim by promising reforms which it never planned to implement . . . “
