ACLJ Supports Congressional Efforts to Prohibit Return of Fairness Doctrine as Broadcaster Freedom Act is Introduced in House & Senate

ACLJ has issued a press release that indicates:

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), focusing on constitutional law, said today it supports the Broadcaster Freedom Act – a measure introduced into the U.S. House and Senate that will prevent the return of the troubling Fairness Doctrine.  The ACLJ received nearly 135,000 signatures on a petition last year urging Congress to approve the Act . . .

The Broadcaster Freedom Act would permanently prohibit the Federal Communications Commission and President-elect Obama from reinstating the Fairness Doctrine . . .
