A Christian legal defense fund has offered to fight any constitutional challenges to three new abortion bills for free. Steven Aden with the Washington D.C.-based Alliance Defense Fund said his organization defends “reasonable” restrictions on abortion throughout the country, and offered to represent the state to help offset the cost of litigation.
“We understand that there may be a concern on the part of some that there may be a cost involved,” Aden said. “We do not believe that cost should be an issue in defending life. And that’s why we would be pleased to defend the regulations in court.”
