Oregon: “Anti-bullying, sex-ed bills become law”

Peter Wong reports in the Statesman Journal: “House Bill 2599 requires school districts to be more specific in anti-bullying policies, which a 2001 law requires them to have . . . House Bill 2509 requires age-appropriate sex education as part of the health curriculum in public schools. The bill arose out of concern about the health of young people.”
