Kentucky Senate panel rejects slots bill

Gregory A. Hall reports in the Courier-Journal: “The Senate budget committee rejected a controversial bill Monday night that would have allowed slot machines at racetracks as a way to shore up Kentucky’s beleaguered racing industry.”
