Court won’t get involved in Bible club question

AP: “The Supreme Court on Monday declined to stop a school district from blocking a group of Christian students from forming a Bible club on campus . . . The case is Truth v. Kent School District, 08-1130, and Kent School District v. Truth, 08-1268.”

ADF Media: First Amendment in Exile: “This result effectively eliminates Christians’ right to associate as a high school club. It was our hope that, after close to a decade of discrimination on the part of Kent School District officials, the U.S. Supreme Court would finally and rightfully uphold the constitutional rights of these students, which are no different than the rights of students who hold other views.”
