Michigan House panel backs coverage of birth control

Detroit Free Press: “Insurance companies would have to include birth control in prescription drug coverage for Michigan policies, under a package of nine bills approved today by a House committee. The legislation also would require emergency rooms to offer emergency contraceptives . . . “
