NY: State high court to hear “gay marriage” cases

New York Times City Room: “New York’s highest court will hear arguments Tuesday in a pair of cases that could have implications for the pitched debate over same-sex marriage in the state . . . The opponents are represented by the Alliance Defense Fund, based in Scottsdale, Ariz., which argues that both orders were ‘illegal, unconstitutional, and resulted in the unlawful disbursement of public funds,’ according to a summary of the cases provided by the Court of Appeals.”
