Challenge To ‘In God We Trust’ On Currency Is Rejected

Religion Clause Blog: “In a brief opinion in Kidd v. Obama, (D DC, Oct. 30, 2009), the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia rejected an Establishment Clause challenge to use of ‘In God We Trust’ on U.S. currency, brought by a plaintiff who described himself as an atheist.”
