Temporary site found for Ten Commandments

Southwest Times Record: “A planned Ten Commandments monument has found a home, at least until it can be placed at the LeFlore County Courthouse in Poteau, the planners announced by e-mail Monday . . . In October the Alliance Defense Fund, a nonprofit alliance of Christian attorneys based in Arizona, asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review a June 10th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling that found the Haskell County Courthouse monument unconstitutional. The appeals court in Denver found the Haskell monument has ‘the impermissible principal or primary effect of endorsing religion.’”
