Letter to the Editor: Appreciates policy on religious freedom

Tampa Bay Newspapers: “As the initiator of the petition to establish a policy of freedom of religious expression in Pinellas County Schools during religious holidays, I thank you for adopting a new policy on religious freedom with a unanimous vote on the second reading Dec. 8. The 648 petitions were presented to the School Board at its May 8, 2007 meeting. I also thank the Alliance Defense Fund Allied Attorney and the Liberty Council who wrote the original ‘model religion policy’ that served as a guide for the Pinellas County School Board.”
