SD: Sexual orientation added to district’s discrimination policy

Rapid City Journal: “The wording was added Thursday night by a 4-2 vote after the policy change sparked controversy and drew hundreds of people to school board meetings during the past month and a half . . . Religious beliefs about homosexuality shouldn’t be extended into the classroom, he said. ‘The Bible’s a very important tool to life, but not a tool to law,’ he said.”
