UMass Dartmouth receives final approval for state’s first public law school

The Herald News: “The University of Massachusetts law school won final approval Tuesday, creating the state’s first public law school and giving local law students a new affordable option. The state Board of Higher Education approved the school with a unanimous vote. UMass unveiled the proposal in October and won UMass Board of Trustees approval in December. The school will hold its first classes this fall.”
