Congressional bills would require a popular vote on DC marriage

DC Examiner: “A US Senator from the state of Utah has filed a bill that would prevent Washington, DC from implementing a gay marriage bill as it was originally passed. The new bill would require a referendum on the issue before it could go into effect.”
